Hiring for the Culinary Department

The resort is looking for skilled culinary professionals, including a Pastry Chef, Pastry Sous Chef, and a Sous Chef for the Commissary Kitchen, In-Villa Dining (IVD), and Banquets. Qualifications & Experience

Pastry Chef

• Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry, or a related field.
• Additional certifications, such as HACCP and food safety, are mandatory.
• Minimum of three years’ experience as a Pastry Chef in a luxury five-star environment.
• Proven expertise in plated desserts, dessert buffet presentation, bakery, and chocolate work; sugar artistry is a plus.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with excellent organizational, problem-solving, and training abilities.
• Mastery of European pastry techniques.

Pastry Sous Chef

• Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry, or a related field.
• Food safety certifications (HACCP) are required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Pastry Sous Chef in a luxury hotel setting.
• Experience supporting senior pastry chefs in production, quality control, and kitchen supervision.
• Proficiency in plated desserts, bakery, and chocolate work.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and mentoring capabilities.

Sous Chef – Commissary Kitchen / In-Villa Dining / Banquets

• Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management from a recognized institution.
• Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene (HACCP) is mandatory.
• Minimum three years’ experience as a Junior Sous Chef.
• At least two years’ experience in a supervisory or assistant chef role covering commissary, banquet, or in-villa dining operations.
• Strong culinary expertise with the ability to mentor junior staff.
• In-depth knowledge of authentic Indonesian flavors and classic Western cooking techniques.
